Marcia's Silver Spoon Cafe - Tacoma's Premier American Diner for Breakfast & Brunch

When we arrived we almost left because the area and the look of the cafe. I am so happy we decided to go in and give it a chance. Amazing customer service, great menu, food came out fast and the food itself was so good! The gravy is house made and super delicious with chunks of sausage in in. The chicken was the best dip it in that gravy and it's perfection. We will definitely be going back. This is the best breakfast spot we've been to in years.

average breakfast/diner food would rate a 3 but going 4 because of the AMAZING staff and love the old diner vibe. you get 10% off your bill if you use cash, but they still accept cards. this place is well known... expect to wait!! it's a little random as far as location so i probably won't go here too often but you will leave happy and VERY full. their menu is extensive!

Recommend trying any of their large omelets or their Chicken Fried Steak & eggs. So good!

When u r hungry this is the place. Everything I'm sorry here is a skill set for breaky's! Grade A+ as usual!! We split a Hawiian omelette with rye toast. The portions are very sizable soooo we need to cut down a bit on the intake anyway ! Service is always spot on as well. Cups and needs always met. Ambiance is classic Marcia's. Old Diner style. Can't wait to see what the new tables will look like. Guess they need more sponsors on it?? Full and happy thanx!

When I think of breakfast, this place perfectly defines it. An old school diner, huge portions and the food is good. I showed up when they opened and it's clear they have a following with a handful of old timers. I ended up ordering an omelette and I couldn't even finish it (made for great leftovers). Got a 10% discount for paying with cash. My server was very friendly and food came out rather quick. Only complaint I had was my toast came out darker then my sense of humor, but I won't knock them down a star since I didn't say anything as there was so much food on my plate. Will be back!

Love this place out here in Tacoma. Super retro from the signs, the diner vibe, to the service. Awesome service, swift, yet friendly. Food is huge and very "steak and potatoes". Super simple but huge in portion and heart. I loved my hamburger patty - adding mushrooms and onions is a must. The fruit plate consists of grapes, strawberries, melon, orange, and apples. So a side of fruit is massive on its own. Didn't order their pancakes but I saw them on other tables and they looked fluffy and stupendous. Would def come here again! 10% off if you pay in cash too!

took a trip down south today to this gem of a cafe for brunch, which is always worth the drive! we ordered the denver omelette + buttermilk pancake + chicken fried steak + hot chocolate
